Terminalia bellirica fruit is known as bibhitaki in Ayurveda. Alongside haritaki and amla, it is one of the three fruits traditionally used in Triphala preparations.
Bibhitaki provides one of the three botanical fruit materials in Triphala. Working with it as a separate extract brings the individual fruit into focus rather than presenting only the combined preparation.
