Osha is a perennial herb native to the Rocky Mountains of North America. Its aromatic root is the part used to make this concentrated dry botanical ingredient.
Its mountain origin and aromatic underground parts are central to osha’s traditional use. The harvested root is dried before further preparation. Unlike a leaf infusion, a root-based preparation begins with denser plant material, which is processed here into a concentrated extract.
